Artist's Bio
I grew up in Boulder, Colorado, As a a third generation artist with an inherited passion for color and creativity, our house was full of paintings in progress and the smell of turpentine.
After receiving my BFA from California College of the Arts, in Printmaking, I immersed myself in the world of textile design. My one of a kind custom rug designs garnered accolades, including a rug I designed for the Oval Office in the White House.
In 1988, I co-founded Fisher and Chappell Paintworks, creating murals for universities, libraries, hospitals, and high-end residential projects. I worked for, the Disney Family, American Girl Dolls, and the Hyatt Regency Corp among others listed below.
Most recently I have been painting in mixed media using paint the computer and encaustic.
"Congratulations, Your wonderful gift to all the children and young at heart is endearing, long-lived, and transcends the immediate space!"
